A serviceman who lost his life as a result of a firearm-related incident was a former player of FC Urartu’s academy, the club has confirmed.
In an official statement, FC Urartu expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Vahan Petrosyan, a graduate of the club’s youth academy.
According to the club, Vahan began his football journey at the age of six, playing for Urartu’s youth teams. He later represented Urartu-2, continuing his development within the club’s system.
FC Urartu extended its condolences to Vahan Petrosyan’s family, relatives, and loved ones.
“Rest in peace, Vahan. You will forever remain a part of the Urartu family,” the statement read.
