The pension payment process for February 2026 will begin on February 2, according to official information.
It should be recalled that, by a government decision adopted on November 6, the procedures for assigning pensions have been significantly simplified. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs reports that the adoption of the project will substantially accelerate the pension assignment process and reduce the number of documents required from citizens.
The list of organizations where work experience from 1992 to 2014 can be confirmed solely by an employment record book—without requiring certificates proving social contributions or salary payments—has been expanded. This expansion includes budgetary institutions, banks, healthcare facilities, cultural institutions, and educational organizations that operated between 1992 and 2004, many of which did not suspend their activities during that period.
In addition, the procedure for confirming work experience has been unified. When confirming work experience for the 1992–2013 period, salary-related documents will no longer be required if there are proper entries in the employment record book and information confirming the payment of social contributions by the insured person.
The process for confirming work experience of individuals who worked in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has also been simplified, taking into account the fact that most archives from the region have not been preserved. This means that for the 1992–2013 period, work experience in Artsakh may be confirmed even in cases where documents proving social contributions or salary payments are objectively unavailable.
