Armenia’s National Assembly has fully adopted a legislative proposal introducing options to exempt citizens aged 27 to 37 who previously avoided mandatory military service from criminal liability.
The bill was approved in full during the parliamentary session.
The voting results were as follows: 86 in favor, 0 against, and 5 abstentions.
The adopted law outlines legal mechanisms that allow eligible individuals to resolve their status in accordance with the new provisions. Further implementation details are expected to be clarified by the relevant authorities.
