


Due to the influence of an active cyclone approaching from the west, precipitation is expected in most regions of Armenia on February 28. In mountainous areas, snowstorms and reduced horizontal visibility are forecast.
On February 28, precipitation across the country is expected mainly in the form of snow, while some valley areas may experience sleet. Air temperatures are forecast to gradually decrease by 8–12 degrees during the day.
During the night of February 27–28 and in the early morning hours, icy conditions may form on roads throughout the country.
Yerevan:
On February 28 and during the night of March 1, intermittent precipitation is expected. Snow is forecast overnight, with sleet possible during the daytime. Dry weather is expected on the afternoon of March 1 and on March 2–3.
Across the country:
On February 28, precipitation is expected in most regions, and in some areas on March 1. Snowstorms and reduced visibility are possible in mountainous areas. Dry weather is forecast for March 2–3.
Winds are expected from the southwest at 4–8 m/s. Temperatures on February 28 will gradually decrease by 8–12 degrees.
Residents and drivers are advised to take necessary precautions, particularly in areas where snow, ice, and reduced visibility are expected.
