

Armenia’s Health and Labor Inspection Body of Armenia has ordered the suspension and recall of several batches of the medication Ferretab Comp.
The decision was made based on a letter and laboratory examination results received on March 16, 2026 from the Scientific Centre of Drug and Medical Technology Expertise.
According to the order issued on March 17, the following companies were instructed to stop distribution and recall the specified batches of the medicine: Tonus-Les LLC, Alfa-Pharm Import CJSC, Natali Pharm LLC, Eskulap-Import LLC, and Theopharma Import LLC.
The recall applies to the following batches of Ferretab Comp capsules (iron fumarate and folic acid, 152.1 mg + 0.5 mg) packaged in blister packs:
F02490 (expiration date: 31.05.2026)
G08684 (expiration date: 30.06.2026)
G08683 (expiration date: 31.07.2026)
G08033 (expiration date: 31.07.2027)
H10279 (expiration date: 30.09.2027)
H01931 (expiration date: 30.09.2027)
F02491 (expiration date: 31.07.2027)
According to information provided by the registration certificate holder, Acino Pharma AG, laboratory testing of samples from these batches revealed that the quantitative iron content did not meet the required specification limits.
As a result, the identified batches are subject to immediate suspension from circulation and recall from the market.
