April 18 Declared a Working Day in Armenia

The Armenian government has decided that April 18, 2026 (Saturday) will be a working day.

This decision was approved during a government session held on January 29. The change is related to preparations for the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, scheduled to take place in Yerevan on May 4.

Reason for the Change

The summit is expected to host around 50 high-level delegations, including heads of state and major international organizations. Due to the scale and importance of the event, adjustments to the work schedule are necessary to ensure smooth traffic management and organization in the capital.
