Armenia’s **Water Committee** and **Veolia Water** have denied reports circulating in the media and on social networks claiming that Yerevan’s drinking water supply schedule has been reduced or that the timetable published on April 3 has been worsened.
In a joint statement, the authorities said the reports are **inaccurate**, emphasizing that, as of **July 2**, residents of Yerevan continue to receive water under the **same supply schedule that was in effect before May 1**.
The statement noted that although an earlier plan had called for reducing water supply to **17 hours per day** for many customers between **May 1 and September 16, 2026**, government intervention and accelerated infrastructure improvements allowed the existing schedule to remain unchanged.
Officials said major capital projects worth nearly **11 billion drams** have been carried out in several districts of Yerevan, including **Nubarashen, Ajapnyak, Malatia-Sebastia, and Kentron**, while work has also progressed on bringing additional water resources to the capital from three new sources.
The recent water outages in **Arabkir, Kentron, and Erebuni** were attributed to emergency repairs on the **Arzni-1 water pipeline**, not to changes in the regular supply schedule. According to the statement, the repairs have been completed, reservoirs are being refilled, and normal water service is expected to resume within the previously announced timeframe.
The Water Committee and Veolia Water urged the public to rely only on **official announcements** for information regarding Yerevan’s water supply.
