
Armenia’s weather service has forecast short periods of rain and thunderstorms across much of the country beginning on the afternoon of July 3 and continuing during the nighttime and afternoon hours from July 4 to July 8.
According to the forecast, hail is possible in isolated areas, while heavy rainfall is expected in some locations between July 4 and July 7.
Westerly winds will generally blow at 2–5 m/s, but thunderstorm activity may produce strong wind gusts of 18–23 m/s. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise by 1–2°C on July 3, before gradually falling by 5–7°C between July 4 and July 6.
In Yerevan, late on July 3 and during the nighttime and afternoon periods from July 4 to July 8, residents should expect brief rain showers and thunderstorms, with wind gusts reaching 17–20 m/s during storms. Heavy rain is possible in parts of the capital on the evening of July 4 and during the night of July 5.
