The issue involving underpayments of September childcare benefits for children under the age of two in the recently enlarged communities of Stepanavan, Goris and Yeghegnadzor has been resolved, according to Minister Arsen Torosyan.
The matter had previously been raised by a lawmaker during a question-and-answer session between Armenia’s National Assembly and the government, Iravaban.net reported.
Torosyan said the problem was technical in nature and was resolved within one to two days.
“As I noted in the National Assembly, the problem was technical and, thanks to our efforts, was resolved within one or two days. The amounts that had been underpaid as a result of the issue have now been transferred in full,” the minister wrote on Facebook.
According to the minister, beneficiaries affected by the technical problem have therefore received the outstanding amounts owed to them for September.
