The Akhuryan Reservoir has recorded its highest water volume ever observed for this time of year, according to Levon Azizyan, Director of Armenia’s Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.
As of October 6, the volume of water accumulated in the reservoir stood at 432 million cubic meters.
“This is the highest figure recorded for this period of the year in the entire history of the reservoir’s operation,” Azizyan said.
The figure represents a record seasonal water reserve for the Akhuryan Reservoir based on historical observations.
