


Veolia Water has announced temporary water supply interruptions affecting several areas of Armenia, including major parts of Yerevan and communities in Ararat and Gegharkunik provinces.
The interruptions are connected with emergency repairs in Sarukhan village and scheduled maintenance of the Garni–Yerevan water pipeline.
The largest interruption is scheduled for October 14–15 and will last 36 hours, affecting several administrative districts of the Armenian capital.
Emergency Water Supply Interruption in Sarukhan — October 11
According to Veolia Water, emergency repair work will require a temporary suspension of water supply in Sarukhan village, Gegharkunik Province, on October 11.
Water service will be unavailable from 10:15 to 19:00, affecting the following streets:
V. Papazyan Street
Charles Aznavour Street
Gayi Street
H. Abrahamyan Street
The interruption is scheduled to last approximately 8 hours and 45 minutes.
Major 36-Hour Water Interruption in Yerevan — October 14–15
Veolia Water has announced that scheduled maintenance work on the Garni–Yerevan water pipeline will require water service to be suspended from 10:00 on October 14 until 22:00 on October 15.
The interruption will affect the following areas of Yerevan.
Nubarashen Administrative District
Water supply will be suspended throughout the entire Nubarashen district.
All consumers in the district are included in the announced interruption.
Erebuni Administrative District
Water supply will be suspended throughout Erebuni, with two exceptions:
Artsakh Avenue
Sari Tagh
According to the announcement, these two areas are excluded from the scheduled interruption.
Kentron Administrative District
The interruption will affect the following streets, addresses and facilities:
Ostrovsky, Tsaturyan and Zavaryan Streets and their lanes
Alek Manukyan Street: 1, 4/2 and 17
Nar-Dos Street: numbers 1–40
Kristapor Street: numbers 1–15
Tskhakhotagortsner Street: numbers 1–65
Khorenatsi Street: numbers 28–231 and 3rd Dead End
Tigran Mets Avenue: numbers 12–80 and the adjoining lane
Water supply will also be interrupted at the administrative buildings of the Yerevan Police Department, National Security Service and Yerevan State University, as specified in the company’s announcement.
Shengavit Administrative District
A substantial number of streets and neighborhoods in Shengavit will also be affected.
The announced locations include:

Important: In other parts of Shengavit not included in the list above, water supply will be suspended on floors above the third floor.
This means that residents living on higher floors in additional areas of Shengavit may also experience water interruptions during the announced period.
Water Supply Interruption in Ararat Province
The scheduled work on the Garni–Yerevan pipeline will also affect several communities in Ararat Province.
Water service will be suspended in:
Bardzrashen village
Ditak village
Jrashen village
Nor Kharberd village
The interruption will additionally affect consumers receiving water directly from the pipeline.
The scheduled period is the same as in Yerevan: October 14 at 10:00 through October 15 at 22:00.
Residents Advised to Store Water in Advance
Due to the extended duration of the planned interruption, residents and businesses in the affected areas are encouraged to prepare sufficient water for drinking, cooking, hygiene and other essential needs.
Special attention may be necessary for households with young children, elderly residents or individuals requiring regular access to water.
Veolia Water has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the interruptions and thanked consumers for their understanding.
According to the company’s announced schedules, water supply is expected to resume after the relevant repair and maintenance work is completed.
