“People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered — forgive them anyway.
If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish or hidden motives — do good anyway.
If you are successful, you may gain false friends and true enemies — succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere, people may deceive you — be honest and sincere anyway.
What you have built over years may be destroyed overnight — build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous — be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow — do good anyway.
Give the best you have to others, and it may never be enough — give your best anyway.
In the end, you will see that it was always between you and God, never between you and them.
No matter who says what about you, accept it with a smile and continue your work.
