Compensation for deposits made at the Republican Bank of the Armenian SSR of the USSR Savings Bank before June 10, 1993, has now been expanded to include individuals born on or before December 31, 1944.
The compensation will be provided via non-cash (cashless) transfer, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.
Eligible depositors may apply in person, through a legal representative, or via an authorized representative to the territorial center of the Unified Social Service at their place of registration. Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
A valid identification document or ID card
The depositor’s public services number (PSN), social security card, or a certificate confirming the absence of a PSN
The depositor’s savings passbook (if available)
A certificate from VTB Bank Armenia CJSC confirming the account details as of June 10, 1993
Other documents, if required
The authorities encourage eligible individuals to prepare the necessary documentation in advance to facilitate the application process.
