Doctor Warns About Harmful Foods and Habits

Medical sciences candidate, surgeon, and oncologist Mark Gadzyan has highlighted two food products that the human body does not actually need but that often appear on the table: potato chips and smoked sausages. From a health perspective, he considers these among the most harmful foods due to their high content of carcinogenic compounds.

The urologist also noted that it is unrealistic to completely eliminate salt and sugar from the diet. Therefore, it is important to monitor and limit the intake of salty and sweet foods as part of a balanced nutrition plan.

The doctor also addressed beverage choices, particularly water and strong alcoholic drinks. Drinking enough clean water daily plays an important role in the prevention of kidney stone disease. He explained that increased sodium intake significantly contributes to stone formation, recommending a reduction in salt consumption, moderation in meat intake, and higher fluid consumption.

Regarding alcohol, especially strong spirits, the doctor emphasized that there is no completely safe level of alcohol consumption, and potential health consequences may appear unexpectedly. Strong alcoholic beverages pose a significant risk to brain neurons, he noted.

In addition, the specialist reminded the public about the importance of avoiding smoking, limiting a sedentary lifestyle (as prolonged inactivity can contribute to pelvic circulation issues), maintaining a healthy body weight, and managing chronic stress, all of which play a role in overall health and disease prevention.
