Symptoms Doctors Say You Should Not Ignore

Detecting cancer at an early stage significantly increases the chances of successful treatment and recovery. But which symptoms may indicate the possible development of cancer?

According to VistaNews, oncologists have identified several common physiological warning signs that may help individuals recognize the potential early onset of cancer.

Among the key early indicators are sudden unexplained weight loss and episodes of fever without a clear cause.

Doctors also advise paying attention to symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, excessive sleepiness, and increasing fatigue. While this may come as a surprise, digestive problems and diarrhea can sometimes also be early signs of certain types of cancer.

In general, specialists recommend being alert to unusual physical manifestations, including night sweats and persistent itching of the skin.

“Having these symptoms, whether individually or in combination, does not necessarily confirm a cancer diagnosis,” researchers emphasize. “However, it is important to consult a qualified doctor if you notice such changes.”

Recently, scientists from Johns Hopkins University suggested that many cancers result from random mutations that occur during cell division when DNA is copied. They found that even a healthy lifestyle may not always be enough to prevent these random genetic errors.

At the same time, researchers note that a certain percentage of cancer cases are influenced by external factors, including environmental exposures and lifestyle-related risks.
