The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia has announced that the deadline for submitting applications for deferment from mandatory military service is April 30, 2026.
According to the requirements set by Government Decisions No. 450-N, 451-N, and 457-N (dated April 12, 2018), citizens who have significant achievements in the fields of education, science, culture, or sports may apply for deferment.
Applications can be submitted between April 1 and May 1, 2026. Applicants must provide a completed application form along with the required supporting documents, either as originals or copies. If submitted by a representative, a valid authorization document must also be included.

. To improve efficiency, applicants are encouraged to submit their applications and supporting materials in digital format whenever possible.
The ministry emphasized the importance of meeting the deadline and ensuring all required documentation is properly submitted.
