
A minor earthquake was recorded in Armenia on March 28 at 2:26 PM local time (10:26 AM GMT), according to the Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The earthquake occurred approximately 15 kilometers southeast of the city of Martuni, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The magnitude of the seismic event was measured at 2.5.
In the epicentral zone, the intensity of the tremor reached 3 on the seismic scale.
The earthquake was also felt in the village of Madina in the Gegharkunik region, where the intensity was estimated at 2–3.
No reports of damage or casualties have been received.
