Armenia will observe non-working days from May 1 to 4 due to the upcoming summit of the European Political Community.
As part of official events, Emmanuel Macron is scheduled to visit Armenia from May 3 to 5. On May 5, he is expected to travel to Gyumri and attend a large concert במסגרת his state visit.
Amid these developments, questions arose among parents and students regarding school schedules. According to information obtained by MediaHub, some schools had indicated there would be no classes on May 5, while universities such as Yerevan State University are expected to hold classes remotely.
Clarifying the situation, Nelli Vardanyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, stated that institutions located in the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan will operate remotely on May 5. Institutions in other districts are advised to switch to remote operations if necessary.
The adjustments aim to ensure smooth organization during the high-level international events.
