The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has presented for public discussion a draft outlining the organization and implementation of the 2026 summer military conscription.
According to the proposal published on the e-draft platform Armenia, the conscription will take place from May 5 to August 15, 2026.
Eligible individuals include male citizens who turn 18 during this period, as well as those whose deferments expire by June 30, 2026. The draft also предусматривает the inclusion of female citizens who submitted voluntary applications by March 1, 2026, along with male citizens who have expressed a willingness to serve.
During the same timeframe—through August 15, 2026—servicemen who have completed their mandatory or alternative service terms in accordance with the law will be discharged.
The draft defines the procedures, responsible bodies, and operational steps required to ensure the smooth conduct of the conscription process.
