
A magnitude 5 earthquake has been recorded in Iran near the city of Gilan-e Gharb in Kermanshah Province, according to reports from IRNA.
Data released by the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute at University of Tehran indicates that the tremor occurred at 00:53 Yerevan time.
The earthquake’s depth was measured at 9 kilometers, while the epicenter was located approximately 23 kilometers from Gilan-e Gharb.
At this time, no official information has been released regarding damage, casualties, or injuries.
