Across the country, significant rainfall and thunderstorms are forecast in many regions on May 16 and 19, while isolated areas may experience similar weather on May 17, 18, and 20. Hail is also possible in some locations.
Forecasters note that during the night and early morning hours of May 16 and 17, precipitation in certain mountainous regions may fall as wet snow.
Winds are expected from the west at 2–5 meters per second, with stronger gusts during thunderstorms reaching 18–23 meters per second.
Air temperatures are forecast to gradually decrease by 5–8 degrees during daytime hours on May 16, followed by a gradual warming trend on May 17 and 18.
