Yerevan’s public transportation fleet has completed a major modernization step, with all newly delivered trolleybuses set to begin operation.
During a municipal briefing, the director of Yerevan Electric Transport, Sargis Bejanyan, announced that 30 of the 45 newly imported trolleybuses have already been deployed and are operating on city routes.
According to Bejanyan, the remaining 15 trolleybuses will enter service starting tomorrow, completing the rollout of the entire fleet.
He also stated that starting tomorrow, no old trolleybuses will remain in operation, marking the full replacement of the previous fleet with new vehicles.
The development is part of Yerevan’s ongoing efforts to modernize public transportation and improve passenger service across the city.
