Warmer Weather Expected Across Armenia After Cyclone Moves Away

Weather conditions across Armenia are expected to improve as the cyclone that brought widespread rainfall begins to move away from the region, according to meteorological officials.

Forecasters say most areas experienced rain and noticeably cooler temperatures due to the weather system. Beginning June 28, the cyclone is expected to weaken and be replaced by warmer air moving in from the southwest.

Dry weather is forecast for most of the country on June 28, with only isolated showers possible in Syunik Province.

Meteorologists also expect temperatures to rise gradually between June 28 and July 2. In the warmest parts of Armenia, daytime highs could reach 35–36°C by July 2.
