A fatal road accident occurred in Yerevan on June 28.
According to preliminary reports, a 32-year-old driver lost control of an Opel Zafira on Tichina Street, where the vehicle struck basalt curbstones bordering a green area before overturning partially onto the grass.
The driver was transported to Astghik Medical Center but died before arriving at the hospital without regaining consciousness.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation. Local media reported that the driver had been returning from the funeral of a relative, although this information has not been officially linked to the cause of the accident.
