The U.S. Embassy in Armenia has highlighted the importance of the International Military Education and Training (IMET) program, emphasizing its role in developing professional skills and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
According to the embassy, the program gives Armenian military personnel the opportunity to study in the United States, build lasting professional relationships, and return home with new knowledge and experience.
The embassy said the initiative focuses on investing in human capital, developing new skills, and reinforcing partnerships, while helping participants contribute to Armenia’s defense capabilities and sovereignty after completing their training.
