Magnitude 7.4 Earthquake Strikes Off Mexico’s Coast, Tsunami Warning Issued

A magnitude 7.4 earthquake has been recorded near the coastal area of Puerto Madero, Mexico, prompting authorities to monitor the situation closely.

Following the earthquake, the U.S. Tsunami Warning System issued a tsunami alert, warning that hazardous waves could affect coastal areas of Mexico and Guatemala within approximately 300 kilometers (186 miles) of the earthquake’s epicenter.
