Veolia Water has announced emergency water supply interruptions affecting several districts of Yerevan, as well as communities in Kotayk and Ararat provinces on August 12 and 13.
According to the company, due to emergency repair work, water supply will be suspended from 10:00 AM on August 12 until 10:00 AM on August 13 in a number of areas.
Arabkir Administrative District
The interruption will affect Ghapantsyan, Kanaker HPP, Griboyedov, Arghutyan, Gr. Artsruni, L. Khechoyan, Davit Hovhannes, R. Sevak, Riga, H. Tamrazyan, S. Chiloyan, M. Margaryan and Hr. Kochar streets.
The affected addresses also include buildings 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 22 and 24 on V. Papazyan Street, including their subdivisions, as well as buildings 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 26 on V. Vagharshyan Street.
Water supply will also be suspended at buildings 10-27 on Adonts Street, buildings 29-34 on Gyulbenkyan Street, buildings 8, 10 and 12 on V. Arajin Vehapar Street, and buildings 2-10 on Vratsakan Street.
The interruption will additionally affect buildings 1-24 and private residences on Nairi Zaryan Street, buildings 7-50 on Komitas Avenue, buildings 24-33 on A. Khachatryan Street, addresses 19-29 on Sundukyan Street, as well as A. Khachatryan 1st Lane, Malkhasyants Lane, Mamikonyants Lane and H. Emin Lane.
Kentron Administrative District
In central Yerevan, the interruption will affect Heratsi Street, Aygestan 9th-11th streets, addresses 1-4 on Myasnikyan Avenue, 54-56 Abovyan Street, addresses 12-80 on Tigran Mets Avenue and the adjacent lane.
The affected areas also include addresses 1-40 on Nar-Dos Street and its lanes, Charents 1st Lane, addresses 1-110 on Kristapor Street, addresses 1-65 on Tskhakhotagortsner Street, Zavaryan Street and its lane.
The Mkhitar Heratsi Medical University, the First University Hospital and the Getar area will also be affected.
Erebuni Administrative District
In Erebuni, the interruption will affect Sari Tagh 1st-3rd streets and rows 1-10, Vormnadirner Street and its lanes, as well as Glinka, Ostrovsky, Burnazyan, Michurin, Grigor and Sargis Gurzadyan, Sasuntsi Davit, Tsaturyan, Suvorov and Yerkatgtsi streets.
Achemyan Street and its lanes, addresses 28-236 on Khorenatsi Street and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lanes, addresses 1-36 on Muratsan Street, 1-30 on Loris-Melikyan Street and 1-30 on Chernyshevsky Street will also be affected.
Kotayk Province
Water supply will also be temporarily suspended in Getamej village in Kotayk Province from 10:00 AM on August 12 until 10:00 AM on August 13.
Masis and Nearby Villages
A separate emergency interruption has been announced for Masis and several nearby communities on August 12.
From 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM, water supply will be suspended in the city of Masis and the villages of Jrahovit, Marmarashen, Arevabuyr and Ayntap.
The interruption will also affect 1st, 2nd and 3rd streets in the village of Nor Kyurin.
Veolia Water apologized to customers and consumers for the inconvenience caused by the emergency work and thanked them in advance for their patience and understanding.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to take the announced interruption periods into account and prepare sufficient water for essential household needs while service is temporarily unavailable.
