Veolia Water has announced temporary water supply interruptions in several communities across Armenia due to emergency repairs and construction-related work.
The interruptions will affect residential and other consumers in parts of Ararat, Gegharkunik and Syunik provinces, with different schedules depending on the location.
Masis and Four Villages — October 9
According to Veolia Water, emergency repair work will require a temporary suspension of water supply in Masis and four nearby villages in Ararat Province.
Water service will be unavailable on October 9, from 09:00 to 23:00, affecting the following communities:
Masis town
Ayntap village
Marmarashen village
Arevabuyr village
Jrahovit village
The scheduled interruption will last approximately 14 hours.
Gavar — October 8–9
A separate emergency repair operation will affect Azatutyun Street in Gavar, Gegharkunik Province.
Water supply will be suspended from 17:15 on October 8 until 18:00 on October 9.
The interruption is expected to last approximately 24 hours and 45 minutes, according to the announced schedule.
Residents and businesses along the affected street are advised to make the necessary preparations for the extended suspension of water service.
Goris — October 12–13
Veolia Water has also announced a planned interruption in Goris, Syunik Province, due to construction work.
Water supply will be suspended from 09:00 on October 12 until 09:00 on October 13, affecting the following streets:
Karahunj 1st, 2nd and 3rd Streets
Sal Kar Street
Areguni Street
Arevshat Street
Aygestan Street
Kristapor Street
The interruption is scheduled to last 24 hours.
Residents Advised to Prepare in Advance
Consumers in the affected areas are encouraged to take the announced schedules into account and store sufficient water for essential household needs during the interruptions.
Veolia Water apologized for the inconvenience caused by the temporary service suspensions and thanked customers for their patience and understanding.
Water supply is expected to resume according to the announced schedules, subject to completion of the necessary work.
