The dates of military training assemblies for reservists in Armenia are established by relevant decisions of the government.
According to Iravaban.net, the rotation of the current group of reservists began on August 4 and will continue through October 9, 2026.
Additional military training assemblies are also scheduled to take place later in 2026. They will involve reservists registered in the first and second categories of the first group of the reserve, including enlisted personnel, non-commissioned officers and officers.
One of the announced training periods will run from September 15 through December 15, 2026, while another is scheduled from September 29 through November 20, 2026.
The overall periods established by the government do not mean that every participating reservist will remain in training for their entire duration. According to the announced rules, each citizen may be involved for no more than 25 calendar days during the training assemblies.
The training assemblies are organized for several purposes, including improving the military capabilities of reservists, providing professional training and preparation, and preparing reserve officers from among non-commissioned personnel who have higher education.
Reservists may also be involved in combat duty as part of the objectives of the announced training assemblies.
The specific dates and framework of the training periods are determined by the relevant government decisions, while individual participation is limited to the established maximum duration of 25 calendar days.
