




Temporary gas supply interruptions have been announced in several regions of Armenia due to scheduled maintenance and repair work. The interruptions will affect numerous residential consumers, businesses and public organizations between August 18 and August 24.
Vayots Dzor Province – August 20-21
Due to scheduled repair work on the DN500 Angeghakot-Jermuk main gas pipeline, gas supply will be suspended from 9:00 AM on August 20 until 9:00 PM on August 21.
The interruption will affect the cities of Jermuk, Vayk and Yeghegnadzor, as well as Gndevaz, Kechut, Herher, Zaritap, Arin, Azatek, Por, Malishka, Agarakadzor, Vernashen, Gladzor and Getap.
Gas supply will also be suspended to CNG filling stations operated by Gladzor MGH, Vahgal, S. Avetyan and Partners, Vayk Gas, Roben Y.H., Tamsar and Meline Emilia LLCs.
Vayki ChShSh and Jermuk Group CJSC, as well as Jermuki Nor Kyank, Jersan and Ice Energy LLCs, and various other public and commercial organizations operating in the affected communities will also be impacted.
Gegharkunik Province – August 18-19
Extensive repair work on the DN500 Sevan-Gavar main gas pipeline will result in a major interruption from 9:00 AM on August 18 until 7:00 PM on August 19.
The interruption will affect Gavar, including the Hatsarat and Artsvakar districts, as well as Gegharkunik, Lanjaghbyur, Sarukhan, Gandzak, Karmirgyugh, Tsaghkashen, Noratus, Hayrivan, Lchap, Berdkunk and Tsovazard.
Gas supply will also be suspended in Martuni and the settlements of Vaghashen, Astghadzor, Zolakar, Tsovinar, Vardenik, Artsvanist, Geghovit, Madina, Nerkin Getashen, Verin Getashen, Lichk, Tsakkar, Tsovasar, Dzoragyugh, Vardadzor, Yeranos and Lernakert.
The interruption will additionally affect Vardenis, along with Khachaghbyur, Lusakunk, Tsovak, Karchaghbyur, Akunk, Mets Masrik, Lchavan, Makenis, Shatjrek, Sotk, Vanevan and Torfavan.
Several businesses, including Highland Fruit, Gavartrans, Arm, Hayk & Norik, Nor Bagrevand, MartGaz, Makvich and Goga-Seda LLCs, as well as other organizations operating in the listed communities, will also temporarily be without gas.
Ararat Province – August 18
On August 18 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM, gas supply will be temporarily suspended for consumers in the southern part of the Ararat settlement.
The interruption is necessary for scheduled maintenance work and will remain in effect during the announced eight-hour period.
Syunik Province – August 18-19
Gas supply will be suspended in the Tsghuk and Gorayk settlements of Syunik Province from 9:00 AM on August 18 until 6:00 PM on August 19.
The interruption will also affect Borisovka LLC and S.K.KAZ LLC.
Armavir – August 18
A scheduled gas supply interruption will affect numerous areas of Armavir city on August 18 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
Affected locations include parts of Mashtots, Yerevanyan, Sayat-Nova, Nalbandyan, Tumanyan, H. Avetisyan, Sahmanapahner, Muratsan and Gorky streets, as well as Yeghoyan Street.
The interruption will also affect apartment buildings at 3, 6, 8 and 10 Baghramyan Street; 1, 3, 3a and 3b Mashtots Street; 28 H. Avetisyan Street; and 38, 40, 42, 55, 38a and 40a Yerevanyan Street.
Several lanes will also be affected, including the 1st and 2nd lanes of Yerevanyan Street, 4th and 5th lanes of Shahumyan Street, 5th and 6th lanes of Myasnikyan Street, 4th Lane of Charents Street, and the 1st and 2nd lanes of Muratsan Street.
The affected area additionally includes part of Lermontov 1st Lane, parts of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lanes of Hanrapetutyan Street, H. Avetisyan 2nd Lane, part of Tumanyan 5th Lane, and the 3rd and 5th lanes of Sahmanapahner Street.
Tsaghkunk – August 21
Gas supply in Tsaghkunk, Gegharkunik Province, will be temporarily suspended on August 21 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM due to scheduled maintenance work.
Consumers in the community are advised to take the announced interruption period into account when planning their activities.
Vanadzor – August 24
Another scheduled interruption will take place in Vanadzor, Lori Province, on August 24 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
Gas supply will be suspended for consumers on Acharyan, Kasyan, Knunyants, Dzerzhinsky, Chavchavadze, Mashtots, March 8, Melkonyan, Sundukyan and Stepanyan streets.
The interruption will also affect apartment buildings No. 1 and No. 2 on Nersisyan Street and the Nersisyan Cooperative No. 6 apartment building.
Consumers, businesses and organizations in all affected areas are advised to take the announced schedules into account and plan accordingly while the necessary maintenance and pipeline repair work is carried out.
