A tragic incident involving an 8-year-old boy occurred in Armenia’s Ararat Province on August 9.
At approximately 12:30 PM, the Artashat Division of Armenia’s Community Police received information that an ambulance team had responded to a call in one of the villages of the province, where the body of a minor had been discovered.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational police team from the Artashat Division was dispatched to the scene to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Authorities determined that the deceased was an 8-year-old boy identified by the initials K. L., who lived at the residence where he was found.
According to the preliminary examination of the body, no visible signs of violence were detected.
The available information does not establish the cause of the child’s death, and conclusions about the circumstances should therefore not be made before the investigation is completed.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated by the relevant investigative department in connection with the incident.
Investigators are expected to carry out the necessary procedural and investigative measures to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the boy’s death.
