Reports have emerged in the Armenian media about another fatal incident involving servicemen at a military unit.
According to preliminary media reports, a conscript allegedly opened fire with his assigned weapon and fatally wounded a fellow serviceman.
The reports claim that the incident followed an argument between the servicemen and that an insult may have preceded the shooting. However, these circumstances have not yet been officially confirmed, and the motive remains unclear.
MediaHub reportedly contacted Armenia’s Ministry of Defense for clarification, but the ministry declined to comment on the incident at this stage.
As of now, there is also no publicly confirmed information regarding the identities of those involved or the precise circumstances surrounding the reported shooting.
The claims about the argument and the alleged motive should therefore be treated as preliminary information pending statements from the Ministry of Defense or investigative authorities.
