The body of Armenian serviceman Edgar Gevorg Gevorgyan was found with a gunshot wound on August 23, according to Armenia’s Ministry of Defense.
The serviceman was serving in an N military unit of the Ministry of Defense.
An investigation is currently underway to determine the full circumstances surrounding his death. No additional details about how the fatal gunshot wound was sustained have been officially released at this stage.
The Ministry of Defense expressed its condolences and support to Gevorgyan’s family, relatives and fellow servicemen.
