After a vacation with his mistress, the man decided to give his “infertile” wife a “gift” — a pregnant doll. But his wife had a gift for him too

He never cared for her. Not from the beginning. He married her because his powerful father made it a condition for inheriting the family fortune. The catch? He had to wed a “respectable woman.” And so he did—out of ambition, not affection.

From day one, his heart held no space for her—only bitterness and resentment. And since he couldn’t avoid the marriage, he made it his mission to drive her out.

He was cruel in every way imaginable. His affairs weren’t secrets—they were statements. He left home for days without explanation. He cut her off financially and forced her to juggle two exhausting jobs just to stay afloat.

His insults were relentless. He chipped away at her confidence, dismissed her dreams, and crushed her spirit. As time passed, the toll became visible—on her face, in her health, and most painfully, in her silent struggle with infertility.

Then came his most callous blow yet.

Returning from a romantic getaway with his mistress, he decided to deliver what he called a “gift” to his wife—a twisted joke in the form of a pregnant doll. “At least she can carry a child,” he imagined himself sneering. It was his final push, hoping she’d finally leave.

He arrived home smug, cruel words rehearsed in his mind. But instead of a broken woman, he found her standing tall at the door, poised and eerily calm.

“Back already?” she asked coldly.

He smirked. “I brought you something. Thought it might cheer you up.”

She didn’t blink. “Perfect timing. I have something for you, too.”

She handed him a thick envelope. Confused, he flipped through the papers. His expression shifted from arrogance to horror.

Inside were divorce documents—alongside a notarized copy of his father’s will.

Everything—every company, property, and bank account—was no longer his. His father had discovered the truth and acted accordingly. The empire he once believed was his birthright had been left… to her.

The woman he tried to break had walked away not only whole but empowered.

She looked him in the eyes one last time.

“I will be a mother. And my child will know what love is—because their father will be someone who actually deserves the title.”

And with that, she turned her back to him—leaving him holding the doll meant to mock her, now a symbol of his own downfall.
