Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has reminded parents whose children have been registered for the first grade of a public school that they must submit an enrollment application to the school principal by September 5, 2026.
The application is required to officially admit the child to the school and complete the enrollment agreement between the parent and the educational institution.
Parents may complete the process in one of two ways:
Online: Parents who have an electronic signature and have verified their identity through Armenia’s national identification platform can submit the application and sign the enrollment agreement electronically.
In person: Parents who do not have an electronic signature or have not completed online identity verification may submit a paper application directly to the school and sign the agreement on paper.
The ministry emphasized that not having an electronic signature will not prevent a child from being enrolled in school.
Officials also warned that any first-grade registration for which no application has been submitted by September 5, 2026, will be automatically canceled.
Parents are therefore urged to complete the application process before the deadline.
