Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has confirmed that a contract serviceman has died suddenly, according to information provided to Pastinfo.
According to preliminary information, the serviceman’s death occurred for reasons unrelated to military service.
The Defense Ministry explained that, under a long-standing practice, it does not issue public statements about deaths determined to be unrelated to military service.
“The mentioned incident has no connection whatsoever with the Sisian military unit,” Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan said.
No additional details regarding the circumstances of the serviceman’s death were provided.
