A frost warning has been issued for several regions of Armenia for the night of October 3–4, according to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.
A significant drop in temperature is expected in the mountainous areas of Shirak, Lori, Aragatsotn and Kotayk provinces, as well as in some parts of Gegharkunik Province.
Air temperatures in these areas are forecast to fall to 0°C to −2°C, while temperatures at ground level could drop further to −3°C to −4°C.
Due to the risk of frost and potential damage to agricultural crops, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center has urged farmers in the affected areas to complete harvesting as soon as possible.
