
The first snow fell overnight in Armenia’s high-altitude areas, signaling the first noticeable signs of winter weather in the mountains.
Snow was recorded on Mount Aragats on October 2, 2026.
Meteorologist Gagik Surenyan published a video showing the first snowfall and the snow-covered landscape on Aragats.
The snowfall comes as temperatures have dropped across Armenia in recent days, with colder conditions particularly noticeable in mountainous areas.
