It is with deep sadness that we report that Milena, the teenage girl who was hospitalized following a serious road accident in Armenia’s Ararat Province, has died from her injuries.
We extend our sincere condolences to Milena’s family, relatives and loved ones during this difficult time.
The accident occurred at around 20:15 on October 1 on 10th Street in the village of Ayntap, near the Arame Market.
According to earlier reports, a Mercedes Vito and a moped being ridden by the teenage girl collided. The impact caused the moped to overturn.
Milena was initially taken to Erebuni Medical Center with injuries and was later transferred to Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center, where she subsequently died.
Earlier reports indicated that the girl was 14 years old.
Criminal proceedings were initiated by the Masis Investigative Department following the accident. The circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
