A 400-mm-diameter cast-iron water pipe burst on Teryan Street in Yerevan on Friday morning, causing water to flow onto the street, according to Veolia Water.
The company said that immediately after receiving the emergency report, specialists from its Kentron operational unit were dispatched to the site.
Emergency crews are currently carrying out repair works to eliminate the damage and restore normal operation of the water network.
Veolia Water has not yet provided additional information on possible water supply interruptions resulting from the incident.
