Scheduled maintenance work will cause temporary natural gas supply interruptions in several communities across Armenia on October 21 and 22, 2026.
The interruptions will affect parts of Vanadzor, Shahumyan in Lori Province, and Chambarak and several surrounding communities in Gegharkunik Province.
The longest interruption is scheduled to last 36 hours, affecting residential consumers, businesses, industrial facilities and public organizations in the Chambarak area.
Consumers are advised to prepare for the temporary disruptions and observe gas safety requirements.
October 21: Gas Supply Interruption in Vanadzor
Scheduled maintenance work will affect several residential buildings and organizations in Vanadzor, Lori Province.
Interruption period: October 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Gas supply will be suspended at the following addresses:
Aghayan Street: apartment buildings 74/1, 74/2 and 74/3.
N. Stepanyan Street: consumers on the 1st Lane.
Nearby public organizations and facilities of various purposes.
The interruption is expected to last approximately nine hours.
Residents and organizations in the affected area should take the announced schedule into account when planning activities that require natural gas.
October 21: Gas Supply Interruption in Shahumyan, Lori Province
Consumers in Shahumyan settlement will also experience a temporary gas supply suspension.
Interruption period: October 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The planned interruption will last approximately five hours.
Gas supply is expected to resume following the completion of the scheduled maintenance work and the necessary safety procedures.
October 21–22: 36-Hour Gas Interruption in Gegharkunik Province
A significantly longer interruption is scheduled in Gegharkunik Province.
Interruption period: October 21 at 9:00 a.m. until October 22 at 9:00 p.m.
The maintenance work will result in a 36-hour suspension of natural gas supply in Chambarak and several surrounding communities.

Drakhtik

Residents of these communities should prepare for the extended interruption, particularly if natural gas is used for heating, cooking or hot water.

In addition to residential consumers, the scheduled interruption in Gegharkunik Province will affect several commercial and industrial facilities.
The announcement specifically identifies:
Tigarell LLC: Natural gas vehicle refueling station.
Ursa Major LLC: Natural gas vehicle refueling station.
Ashtarak Milk LLC: Dairy production facility.
Ar-Tar LLC: Dairy production facility.
A bakery production facility owned by Arsen Nadaryan.
Other public organizations and businesses operating in the affected communities will also experience the temporary suspension of gas supply.
The interruption may require affected facilities to adjust their operations during the announced period.
