Gazprom Armenia has announced temporary natural gas supply interruptions in several areas of Yerevan and Lori Province on Thursday, October 22, 2026, due to scheduled maintenance work.
The planned interruptions will affect residential buildings, private houses, businesses and public organizations in the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan, as well as parts of Alaverdi, Vanadzor, Haghpat and Darpas.
Depending on the location, the interruptions are expected to last between five and nine hours.
Gas Supply Interruption in Yerevan’s Kanaker-Zeytun District
According to Gazprom Armenia, gas supply will be suspended in several parts of the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district.

The following residential buildings and private houses will be affected:
Dro Street:
Apartment buildings 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11.
Aharonyan Street:
Apartment buildings 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22.
Private houses numbered 24–62.
K. Ulnetsi Street:
Apartment buildings 66, 66A, 62 and 62/1.
Davit Anhaght Street:
Apartment buildings 23/1, 17, 19 and 19/1.
Other affected streets:
Vahyan Street — private houses.
Nersisyan Street — private houses.
The interruption will also affect nearby public organizations and facilities operating in the specified areas.
The planned duration is approximately nine hours.
Additional Eight-Hour Interruption on K. Ulnetsi Street
Gazprom Armenia has separately announced a gas supply interruption at another address in the Kanaker-Zeytun district.
Affected address: K. Ulnetsi Street, apartment building 45/1.
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Residents of this building should expect an approximately eight-hour interruption.
Gas Supply to Be Suspended in Alaverdi and Haghpat
Scheduled maintenance work will also affect consumers in Lori Province.

The interruption will cover:
Engels Street in Alaverdi.
Debed Street in Alaverdi.
Haghpat settlement.
Natural gas supply in these locations is expected to be unavailable for approximately eight hours.
Nine-Hour Gas Interruption in Vanadzor
Residents of Vanadzor’s Taron 4 neighborhood will also experience a temporary suspension of gas supply.

The affected areas include:
Mekhenashinarneri Street (Machine Builders Street).
Karmir Khach Street (Red Cross Street).
Nearby public organizations and facilities.
The interruption is scheduled to last nine hours.
Gas Supply Interruption in Darpas
The company has also announced a temporary gas supply suspension in Darpas settlement, Lori Province.
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The interruption will affect gas consumers throughout the settlement and is expected to last approximately five hours.

Safety Recommendations for Gas Consumers
Gazprom Armenia has urged residents and organizations in the affected areas to comply with natural gas safety requirements.
Consumers are advised to turn off gas appliances during the interruption and avoid attempting to restart equipment while the supply remains unavailable.
Gas equipment should not be modified or repaired without qualified assistance.
If a gas leak is suspected, residents should avoid open flames and electrical switches, leave the affected area and contact the emergency gas service from a safe location.
