Leopard teaches her cubs how to cross the road 🥰
A traffic jam doesn’t make anyone happy, especially when you are in a hurry.
But it’s welcome if you are in South Africa crossing the road of Kruger National Park, one of the dangerous and simultaneously attractive places of the world where wild animals are free.
While driving through the reserve’s wide road, both local and tourists can see wild animals: elephants, lions, leopards or rhinos.
Recently a family, crossing this very road, had a fantastic opportunity to witness such a scene.
That day, early morning, when they left their camp in hope to see leopards, the father Thinus Delport asked jokingly their daughters to sing loudly, so that the leopards hear and appear.
So they did, and surprisingly a wonderful view opened in front of their eyes.
First they noticed a traffic jam, then they realized that the responsible for it is a leopard family.
An adorable mother leopard and her two wonderful cubs were trying to cross the road, when one of the little babies, who was confused and scared, stopped in the middle of the road.
Mama leopard had to come back, as she saw that her cub didn’t follow her.
It seemed she whispered something in the ear of her baby, convincing her not to fear and follow her.
Tough, the cubs looked exhausted, but they decided to trust their mother, who is always there to help them out, to cross the road and disappear in the brushes.
Eventually, the majestic leopard and her offsprings crossed the road successfully.
It was a good opportunity for the Delport’s daughters to take some wonderful photos of that elusive cats.
