Planning a wedding can often be a stressful endeavor, particularly when it comes to selecting bridesmaids and groomsmen. However, one woman found a unique and heartwarming solution to this dilemma.

Alexandra Stamps, a fifth-grade teacher at Science and Technology Elementary School in Wichita, Kansas, didn’t hesitate to involve her students in her special day. She and her fiancé, Mason McDowell, a third-grade teacher, had been dating for nearly a year and decided to tie the knot in July.

But what made their wedding truly exceptional was the couple’s decision to not just invite their students but to have them serve as bridesmaids and groomsmen.

For Alexandra, it was a heartfelt choice. «I love them, and they’re a significant part of my life. I want them to stand by my side because they are my biggest supporters,» she shared with the Wichita Eagle.
