Remember back to your childhood, when dreams of what you’d become as an adult danced in your mind? Some children envisioned themselves as doctors or dancers, while others aspired to be veterinarians or nurses. The grand dreams and vivid imaginations of children often spark hope, and happiness follows like a breath of fresh air. Ambitious and laid-back kids alike infuse their lives with an extra dash of charisma. Not every child dreams of a future in a distant land, but one girl from the Czech Republic did. What did she lose?

At just 11 years old, Lara H. made the bold decision to journey vast distances to pursue her hopes and dreams. With aspirations of becoming a singer, Lara and her family charted the course of her life. Taking the stage on «The Voice Kids,» one might mistake Lara for a seasoned pro with her incredible voice and stage presence.

She revealed to the judges that she had already received professional training at a young age, having attended a music school in Nashville, Tennessee. Watching the heartwarming video, one can’t help but imagine the bright future awaiting this young talent. Behind the scenes, her mother, father, and brother watched with anticipation, surely awaiting this touching and joyous moment for quite some time. Not only did the young star impress the judges with her performance of «Shake it Off,» but she also moved them to tears.

The 11-year-old sensation made a huge impact by exuding confidence and showcasing her remarkable voice on stage with «Shake it Off.» Overwhelmed with happiness, Lara even engaged the judges, inviting them to sing along with her.

«I’d be better, I’d be happier, I’d be ‘you need me,’ I think we understand each other perfectly,» one judge expressed. «I don’t think I can put into words what just happened. I believe we’re a perfect match musically. Lara, it would be a great honor for me to have you on my team,» said another.

«I see that the Czech Republic boasts a rich and influential culture, history, and musical education. We’d be thrilled to have an international star on our team,» remarked another judge.

Upon hearing that not all judges desired her on their team, Lara ultimately chose judge and singer Lena Meyer-Landrut. As Meyer-Landrut accepted Lara’s choice, she smiled and turned to her new teammate.

«Yes, yes. I’m so happy, so grateful for the wonderful job you did, Lara. I’m over the moon, it’s indescribable,» she said as they joyfully exited the stage. Seeing that Meyer-Landrut sings in English just like Lara, it became clear from that moment that they could be perfect partners.

As the competition, which began in March 2022, progresses, we’ll have to wait until the end of «The Voice Kids» to see what results Lara achieves by the end of the tournament.
