Artashes Aleksanyan, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, passed away in the early hours of July 6 at the age of 65.
The news of his death was confirmed to Armenpress by his friend, Harutyun Bogaryan.
«He had been hospitalized for the past three days. This morning, at 3:55 a.m., his heart stopped,» Bogaryan said.
Aleksanyan was a respected actor and recipient of the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, recognized for his longstanding contribution to Armenian arts and culture.
