Actor Gor Hakobyan has shared an update following Felo’s long-awaited surgery.
According to Hakobyan, the operation took place on August 24 and lasted more than five hours. He said the procedure went according to the doctors’ plan.
During the surgery, 20 centimeters of the fibula bone were removed, while the important nerves responsible for walking were successfully preserved.
Hakobyan said the recovery process is expected to take 9–12 months, during which Felo will have to learn to walk again. Five additional courses of chemotherapy are also planned.
“At the moment, Felo is feeling well,” Hakobyan wrote, thanking everyone for their support.
