Young Greco-Roman wrestler Ghukas Gulinyan, an athlete at the Dilijan Sports Complex, has died prematurely, according to a statement shared by the sports complex and Haghartsin Secondary School.
Ghukas was a 10th-grade student at Haghartsin Secondary School and trained in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Dilijan Sports Complex.
Condolences were extended to his parents and family, as well as to the administration and staff of Haghartsin Secondary School and the Dilijan Sports Complex, his teachers, coaches, classmates and friends.
The circumstances and cause of his death were not specified in the statement.
