A magnitude 5.4 earthquake has struck northwestern Peru, according to the country’s National Seismological Center.
Seismologists reported that the epicenter was located approximately 92 kilometers northeast of Santa María de Nieva, the capital of Condorcanqui Province.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of about 15 kilometers.
There have been no reports of casualties or damage following the earthquake.
