A fire broke out at an electrical substation on Tsitsernakaberd Highway in Yerevan on September 27.
At 17:07, Armenia’s Interior Ministry 112 Operational Management Center received a report that a fire had broken out at the Tsitsernakaberd 110/6 substation.
According to Electric Networks of Armenia, firefighters and rescuers are currently working to extinguish the blaze and taking measures to prevent the fire from spreading.
Employees of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC are also at the scene.
The cause of the fire at the substation is currently being investigated. A crime report has been formally filed in connection with the incident.
Further details about the extent of the damage or possible impact on electricity supply have not yet been provided.
